Thor

A Norse god becomes a comic book character who becomes a movie. Thor, seriously? Does any good thing come from Asgard? The One Minute Review has the answer.

  1. Another great review. I just watched "Thor" on Sunday through Amazon Instant Video. I didn't go into it with any Iron Man or Dark Knight expectations since I haven't seen those movies, but my expectation was based on a comment you made in your Green Lantern review. That is, Thor was the best it could be based on its source material.

And you were right. It was a good movie. I think Chris Hemsworth (sic) played Thor, & he did a good job in my opinion. Ditto to what you said about the actor playing Loki. He was really the best out of the bunch. Natalie Portman was okay, but considering the last movie I saw her in was Phantom Menace...

The movie was tight and didn't meander around very much, so it gets props for that. It was no Captain America but it was head & shoulders above Green Lantern.
